Central Park Blvd

Groundbreaking:

JobSiteVisitor.com is excited to announce our partnership with the City of Denver. They will be using our service to help organize, manage, and share construction progress photos on their upcoming bond projects. Our service is debuting on their new Central Park Boulevard Interchange project.

Here is a link that will take you right into the Central Park Boulevard Interchange Project construction progress photos.

Below are shots from the groundbreaking ceremony held on 9/15/2010.

In attendance:
Denver Mayor – John Hickenlooper
Colorado Governor – Bill Ritter
Federal Highway Deputy Administrator – Greg Nadeau
City Councilman – Michael Handcock
Deputy Mayor & Deputy Manager of Public Works – Bill Vidal
President of the Stapleton Development Corporation – Cheryl Cohen-Vader

The Central Park Boulevard Interchange project is one of those projects that was expedited through the combined efforts of the Federal Highway Administration, Colorado Department of Transportation, and City and County of Denver. This is going to be a great project for the area. Not only will the interchange be creating short term construction jobs over the next year but it’s going to create some excellent long term development opportunities for years to come.

During the construction of the project Jacobs and SEMA Construction will be using JobSiteVisitor.com’s photo hosting and management service to help share progress updates with the general public. The service is designed to make it easy for the general public to get quick and accurate construction progress updates on a regular basis.

Just go to The City of Denver’s project page – Central Park Blvd. Interchange and click on the JobSiteVisitor.com Logo on the right side of the page or just click on this link to see Construction Progress Photos. Stay tuned, more progress to come.

Breakfast in Steamboat

My wife, Megan Sweeney, has been filming a weekly web series for a company in Boulder called TechStars. If you’re into entrepreneurial web start-ups you’ll like the series, check it out here. Anyway, this morning I got the chance to join her, Paul Berberian, and Zach Kozick with Omniar for breakfast in Steamboat. Breakfast was good but I would have to say the best part of the trip was the flight to Steamboat. Paul, a TechStars’ mentor, flew us over to Steamboat in his plane, what a great experience! Here are some photos from the flight.
